Where was I?

Im currently enjoying my school holidays...without the babies :) Although I have some days off from work, I am still paying daycare for the kids so they are enjoying their time at school while I perform some serious retail therapy.

I havent been too constructive during the hols but have spent lots of me time, which was desparately needed. I have become addicted to food blogs and am obsessed with buying a pettiskirt for Madison. I keep telling myself Ill get it for Christmas (to justify the expense of course).

The kids are great! As we fast approach Christmas, its hard to believe that Madison will soon be 3 and Cameron 18months old. Where have my babies gone? Cameron last week had his first haircut and now looks like a boy not a bub. His collection of words is growing every week, with his most recent being "please".

Madison is also growing so fast. She has great conversations with everyone, including everyone we walk past on the street. "Hi lady" she calls out. Lots of things are beautiful, including Mummy (*heart*) but Cameron is "so cute".

Im one lucky lady.

Update

My blog is sadly lacking. When ever I get a chance to tap on the keyboard without a child hanging onto my leg, its usually to check the email and off again.

But the babies are getting bigger. And louder. And more crazy! They are crackers! But I love them to pieces and couldnt imagine what life was like without them.

So without further ado, my big babies.

Madison!!

My little girl is such a grown up. She is a wonderful big sister, is caring but can be a total 'pork chop' as her Daddy likes to say. Now if we could get her to stop saying "Shut up, go away!" (which we say to the dog - uh oh)

Cameron is (nearly) 1!!!

I find it very hard to believe that my bubba is nearly 1. His birthday is next Satuday. He has been walking for about 2 months now, chats away all day! (newest 'word' being dog) and adores his sister Madison with a passion.

The Journey

Ok take 3!
Since last time, I have embarked on a life changing journey. I joined weight watchers and have lost to date 33kg. I still have around 8 to go but I cant believe what a difference it has made to my life. I actually enjoy every day things now and know how to make better choices about what goes into my mouth!

Blogging is cool

Thought I'd give this blog thing a go again. Ive been reading others blogs and they are awesome, will have to figure out how to link them somehow. Thanks ladies on EB, you keep me entertained when Im cruising the net aimlessly.

I wonder why I spend time on the computer when there is so much else to be done! I think thats the reason - there is too much to be done so if I hide in cyber space, it doesnt need my attention haha. I figure it will get done eventually (cleaning fairy where are you?) I actually had my mum suggest that she come around one day and we clean together *blush*. I figure as long as we are fed, wearing clean clothes, I mustnt be doing such a bad job.

Since the last post, I have 'aquired' another child :) Cameron Rhys was born on Friday 19th July and makes a perfect balance to sister Madison. He is a very easy going soul and is not fussed by much. Its hard to believe that he is 11 weeks old as I type this!

Hopefully this will not be my last post for another year!
